‘cake table’ by kenji mizuno of mizmiz design
japanese designer kenji mizumo of mizmiz design has recently developed the ‘cake table’ series. as suggested by the name, the table has a triangluar form with playful laminate color variations, allowing flexibility for the user. measuring 60 x 35 cm (24 x 14 inches), the furniture piece can be used either as a single unit or combined to create a larger surface. with the universal nature of its shape, the slices can perform both as a coffee table, end table or stool. the piece was shown during tokyo designers week 2011.
