italian furniture manufacturer cappellini presented two new additions to the ‘bac’ family designed by london-based jasper morrison on the occasion of milan design week 2011. entitled ‘bac one’ and ‘bac two’, the chairs keep with the lightness materials and simplicity of forms of their ‘bac chair’ predecessor but without arm rests. each one is made from either solid ash, aniline red cherry or wenge wood. the chairs’ shell can be upholstered in linoleum, fabric or leather. their overall dimensions measure 41 x 48 x 77cm.
