the work of uk based artist benedict radcliffe deals primarily with his love of machines, engineering and the transferring of commercial branding to different contexts. his most recent piece with the soccer world branch of tire corporation continental, has produced a circular, 10m in diameter by 3m high, soccer pitch at the stade de france outside paris.
modeled as a car tire when seen from a distance, the miniature field was set up for fans to try and score on a former french olympic goalkeeper. three shots and if you scored, you get a prize.
