‘william light’ by andrea francesconi is born from the observation of how pears hang and sit. the italian designer translates this into technical drawings of a rope, a light fixture and a glass object, cut either at 90 degrees or slightly diagonal. the design aims to give the feeling of simplicity while communicating its consistency and richness.
