dutch designer j.p.meulendijks of plankton has sent in images of his latest project ‘bird in hand’. the lamp is based on the universal art of hand shadows; cast on walls using hands to create birds, rabbits etc. ‘bird in hand’ plays with the concept, by using numerous hands positioned to look like a flock of birds, flying out in circles.
