the form of designer mark mcclean‘s random sushi tray and yunomi holder is developed arbitrarily through a digital rendering program. once the desired form is created, mcclean has a plywood CNC routed mould made in order to cast his design in ceramic.
this tray is paired with small bowls for soup or sauce which can sit within one of the many ‘nests’ within the surface.
