the ‘nest chair’ by thai designer rush pleansuk consists of a weaving pattern of golden teak and ash wood. the result is a kind of loose, lattice effect which is supported by steel mesh legs and brace. the chair is a study in joinery and interlocking parts, and is being produced by thai furniture manufacturer PLATO.

the nest chair has been exhibited in designboom’s asia now exhibition at dwell on design in los angeles.
