‘HGW: hakobo graphic world’ exhibition poster

polish graphic designer jakub stępień just sent designboom images of his latest works titled ‘turbogothic’, a visual phenomenon he discovered while preparing for his ‘HGW: hakobo graphic world‘ exhibition. drawing from the recurring triangle patterns presented everywhere in the architecture, signs, logos and streets of the hosting city wroclaw, it soon became leitmotif of the whole ‘HGW’ exhibition layout. ‘turbogothic’ refers to the gothic, historic part of wroclaw that has an extreme influence on the present day.
