singporean-based d.lab is a commercial entity and trademark created by the design incubation centre, singapore, to communicate its research and outcomes through commercial distribution channels. it aims to examine and create new possibilities and new relationships between man, object and his environment.
the design incubation centre is a research laboratory which develops new tools to find different avenues for the practice of design. this is done through projects that analyze the emerging and evolving needs of humans, technology and social trends.
during salone satellite 2010, they presented their ‘pre-editions’ collection, a selection of prototypes which have been developed with the aim of engaging and seeking collaborations and opportunities with industry people.
