‘VELUX sun tunnel‘ by ross lovegrove created in partnership with velux group integrates round organic forms taken from nature into a new solar lamp. designed for spaces where installation of windows is not possible and where electrical light would normally be the only other option, the lamp captures sun rays and returns them with a beautiful light reflectance in the room. meanwhile, the diffuser allows for the adjustment of the light direction.

not just an ‘add on’ product, the new solar lamp puts emphasis on the fusion between
aesthetics and functionality. in the process of creation, lovegrove wanted to realize a
product that created a ‘moment of enlightenment’ for users.
