spanish designer jesús gasca has produced ‘laclasica’, a stackable wooden chair that combines the traditional principles of classical seating. the furniture piece mimics the curves and shape of the human body, conveying sensuality by fusing the seat pan and back rest to the legs to create a fluid form. the decision to utilize solid and molded ash plywood along with an aluminum extrusion provides additional strength to the structure.
