stylist GIJO challenged different professionals to design a haircut line. FARH 021.3, is a group of portuguese architects working in berlin, who were open to this experimental field. both motivated by the european capital of culture in guimarães 2012, they proposed an idea to merge two creative methodologies, architecture & hairstyling.

the styles are a fusion of hair and geometric shapes. they play with the extension of the face, developing borders with acute angles. the form absorbs the organic shape of the material, evoking architecture and fashion of the 60s and 70s. the cut is defined by a demonstration of the continuous line which is an important part of the overall design. the result is an asymmetric profile with visible layers, underlined with color. hair rulers were used to give the desired effect.
