‘hide and seek’

this unsettling art project titled ‘hide and seek’ by french artist frederique daubal is a series of cut out pages from fashion magazines, sliced into fringes and made into masks resembling muslim niqābs. it is a statement on identity, transformation and what it means to be french today.
