porsche redesigned the new front and rear layout with four point LED daytime running lights, 3D taillights and four-point brake lights. a twin-turbo engine with more power, and considerably more torque, higher RPM limits and lower fuel consumption is matched alongside a sport exhaust system with central tailpipes that announce when the ‘911’ feels at home.

porsche’s formula for success could not be more simple. thanks to their ritual turbocharged engines, they offer immediate responsiveness, and even greater power output. the six cylinder horiztonally opposed engine creates a legendary sound echoed through the foothills, and the seven-speed manual transmission delivers better fuel consumption than expected. depending on the driving style, active air intake flaps reduce air resistance or improved cooling performance at every turn. weighing 1,965 kilograms, the cabriolet can reach speeds of up to 304 km/h. setting it to ‘sport plus’, it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

the interior of the porsche ‘911 carrera cabriolet S’ is infused with over 60 years of experience. the ascending center console is driver focused, putting the most important vehicle functions within short reach of the steering wheel. a classic ‘911’ feature is the arrangement of the five round instruments with the tachometer positioned in the center. the instrument cluster itself was a high-resolution 4.6 inch color screen to add to the modernity of the cockpit.
