the samsung lithium-ion battery is tucked neatly into the frame and kept safe with a sturdy lock mechanism. it can be removed easily for charging, or the bike can be plugged directly into a convenient power outlet. ‘mate’ also comes with an intelligent 6-speed computer and an LCD backlit display. this waterproof and dust proof screen displays the battery life, time and distance of travel, so riders are always in the know. the built-in USB charger means smartphones and other devices can have an energy top up on the go, so they never run out of battery again.
