originally presented during CES 2014, ‘clockone’ by twelve24 is a four millimeter thin, meter-long wall clock that uses high contrast E-ink technology to display time. powered by a single coin-cell battery, the electronic paper-based device runs for an average of a year, and weighs less than two kilograms. the interface consists of four large digits that flash when the time changes, with buttons on the colon serve as intuitive controls. the lightweight timepiece can also be hung using a simple magnetic mounting system and tilts to automatically level itself. clockone will be available september 2014, and can be pre-ordered here.
