‘EOS-1D C’ by canon
canon has developed ‘EOS-1D C’, the world’s first DSLR capable of capturing video in 4K (4096 x 2160-pixels) at 24p or in full HD at 60p. for photographic purposes, the camera uses a 18.1 megapixel sensor which supports the ability to shoot continuous burst photos up to 14 frames/second and take extermely sharp images. its small size allows for easy mounting and transportation, opening the door for the next generation of compact film and TV production packages. the camera was designed in response to the needs of filmmakers, television producers, seeking more powerful and affordable devices as the industry standard for high quality picture continues to grow.
the camera will cost around 12,000 USD (exact price to be confirmed) and will be available beginning in october.
