bugatti has presented the third model in ‘les légendes de bugatti’, the company’s six-part limited edition collection at this year’s dubai international motor show. based on the veyron 16.4 grand sport vitesse, the ultra luxury ‘legend’ vehicle pays homage to meo costantini – the head of bugatti’s racing team from 1927 until 1935. its 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine produces 1,200 horsepower at 3,000–5,000 rpm and can accelerate from 0–100 km (0 to 62 mph) in 2.6 seconds. previously, the vitesse was driven to a top speed of 408.84 km (253 mph) with the roof down in april 2013, making it the fastest production roadster ever built.
