influenced by the human anatomy, the ‘mother mine & all of us’ – furniture collection by portuguese designer ana fatia drifts from the free-will to value the reflection of ones identity – represented in the shape of a simple fragment. the concept materializes a graffiti-like hieroglyph, an engraving of fatia’s youthful female body in an x-ray plate. a sketch reveals itself as a female hip, occupying a restrained and elegant space – which is translated into using corian and laser cut wood.
