In everyday life we come across non-disposable plastic bags which pose a danger to our environment. These plastic bags are extremely colorful, highly available and inexpensive, or in other words – The Perfect Raw Material.
Fashion is based on consumerism and it is therefore necessary to think of new ways to consume fashion, in particular the desire for the latest thing.
My product is comprised of two parts: The first part is the insole which is custom made and can be removed from one pair to another. The second part is the outer surface, which is made from plastic bags wrapped around the shoe tree, half melted, to form the shoe. After the outer surface wears out, it can be recycled to form new different shoes.
The reusable shoe is not only colorful and cool but also very comfortable and pleasant to touch.
The usage of this material in this method is a base for various fashion products, such as hats, rain coats etc. – eco chic is my selection.
