the international jury was composed of: – birgit lohmann, editor-in-chief designboom.com – ian rudge, managing director 100% design – tom dixon, designer – james irvine, designer – alberto meda, designer – karim rashid, designer — participants: more than 1300, from 84 countries prototype-entries received: 470 projects the jury made its selections, and did a great work -from the combination of choices 30 selected prototypes and (in a second step) the winner were chosen.
