designed by turin-based studio zanocchi & starke, the ‘frida collection’ is a set of four flat-pack furniture pieces composed by a side table, a chair, a bench and a stool. they are all mounted with the same base and joined with a single butterfly screw. whoever puts hands onto the quick and simple mounting process will have no trouble at all to get it steady and still in no time. ‘frida stool’ and ‘frida side table’ are the first two pieces of the series, characterized by its simple mounting system that, besides providing a nice detail on the top, allows frida to be easily disassembled and reassembled. these features make it extremely versatile and minimize the storage and transportation costs.
the ‘frida’ stool and side table were the first objects added to the collection
no instructions are needed and no skills are required to put together the ‘frida collection’. the three pieces that make up each piece of furniture are just assembled one on top of the other and are then secured with the butterfly screw. along with the customizing possibilities, by using the same base in every piece of the collection, production costs drop significantly, not to mention storage, which is off hand.
