during the 2015 salone del mobile, VITRA and G-star RAW debut the limited prouvé RAW office edition — a 10-part edition comprising furniture and lamps. jean prouvé is considered one of the most important designers and engineers of the 20th century. in celebration of his influence, VITRA — in collaboration with the prouvé family — has adapted a selection of seating, storage units, and lighting designed by the renowned french creative, about 70 years ago, to the requirements and standards of today’s office environments.
working directly with art directors from G-star to develop a contemporary color palette, material placement and modern detail finishes, VITRA presents a family of furniture that intersects present-day needs with the design ideals of the past.
