the ‘folding tea light holder’ by korean designer pilsoo han, is made from a thin layer of flexible steel. the DIY template allows one to simply fold and construct the simple silhouette into a functional product through the use of small protruding tabs. the design which was created for soft paper studio – uses a sharp graphic stencil and thin vertical slits allowing it to be bended in place. the geometric structure of the vessel – once composed – is complimented by a glimmering flame overhead making a bold and fearless statement.
