slovenian architects katjuša kranjc kuhar and rok kuhar from raketa studio present their latest design, circulum. raketa’s nifty shelf sets itself apart with its unique ability to hang from the ceiling while keeping its subtlety. the designers suggest to ’not use as directed — use as desired’, since this piece of furniture is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional.

winner of the prestigious 2017 red dot award, raketa’s elegant ‘circulum’ series comes in a variety of finishes including walnut wood, white marble, black leather and an endless combination of materials. the ceiling table is designed to hold the essentials; keys, wallets, glasses, phones. in the end, with its almost sculptural appearance, the circulum shelf will be an eye-catcher in any living environment. ‘it’s the first thing you encounter on arriving home, and the last upon leaving the house. there’s no questions, no forgetting, no excuses. just sublime clarity’.
