‘office smart’, ‘casual friday’ and ‘party tuxedo’ are, surprisingly, not the names of three different business suit styles — they are the variations of quiksilver japan’s latest innovation: the ‘true wetsuits‘. made with high spec waterproof material, the wearables can literally be worn from beach to the office, with no need to change at all. the collection comprises a jacket, made from 2 millimeter thick super stretchy neoprene; a water repellent shirt, tailored with ‘dry flight’ technology originally developed by quicksilver and 3M; a tie, made of wet suit fabric; and amphibious, waterproof pants.
watch the two videos below to see ‘true wetsuits’ in action, and a detailed look at the fashion forward technology that went into the making of the collection.
