greek designer panos velentzas has created a series of salt and pepper grinders with ancient greek gods and goddesses attached to them. the kitchen products were made for benaki museum in athens and the project refers to an era gone before as a reminder of the achievements from past ancestors. the heads of famous deities are positioned at the top of the kitchen product as small figurines that can be turned to grind the contents. wanting to mark the course of history as a way to envision the future, the use of these items will serve as a daily reminder.
