‘anemone stool’ by masanori umeda
japanese designer masanori umeda is known for his poetic playful furniture pieces, many of which draw on nature, in particular the shape of blossoming flowers such as his ‘getsuen’ and ‘rose’ armchairs both done for italian furniture manufacturer edra. his latest design ‘anemone’ is a stool that is fashioned off the motif of an anemone flower for toyo kitchen style. it features structural stainless steel parts, and includes a seat, leg and base, all hand-made by toyo kitchen’s craftsmen. the stool measures 560W x 540D x 950H mm and comes in opera pink, marine blue, pale green or snow white.
