to celebrate 10 years of collaboration and friendship with karim rashid, tonelli design hosted an event in new york during the ICFF 2014. for the occasion, the italian furniture company presented ‘kart’ and ‘tekon’, a bar cabinet with large glass wheels and a series of angular low tables. the overlapping surfaces become the focus of ‘kart’, acting as primary support elements. made of smoked, frosted and transparent glass, the planes optically appear to cross-cross.
