conductive knot lamp creates a complete circuit when tied together

created by designer celia torvisco, the ‘conductive knot lamp’ uses a conductive thread to form a complete circuit when its two ends are tied together. this provides two functions; a textile tie and an electrical connection, making it useful in a variety of situations. the versatile flashlight can be used for camping, riding a bike, bound to a backpack or when reading a book. to turn off the light, the user only has to untie the bond in order to disconnect the whole system. available with either a white, black or black and blue main body, the lamp’s wires are directly woven from another cotton thread, insuring that a successful power link is made.
