formally based on the bottom of a plastic bottle, the ‘bottlebench’, a social furniture project by maarten pauwelyn targets use for public and privates spaces with the intention of having younger crowds interact with the piece. made using only recyclable polyester, the seating installation focuses on comfort and eye contact by distributing equal distances between users. the ‘bottlebench’ also consists of five stackable components which make it easy to manufacture and transport.
