adidas creates concept shoe manufactured from reclaimed ocean waste

adidas is celebrating its partnership with parley for the oceans with an innovating footwear concept made completely from plastics found in oceans. the yarns and filaments use reclaimed waste and illegal deep-sea gillnets that were retrieve after a 110 day expedition off the coast of west africa. the prototype shoe illustrates the direction the collaboration is taking with consumer ready ocean plastic products which will be revealed later this year.
