berlin-based designer nora luther and photographer pavel becker have combined their creative spirit for series of food art photos, which highlight the raw ingredients that make up each dish. each edible rests in weightlessness, hovering above pans, plates bowls and broilers. already properly proportioned (before falling into the vessel where they would be further processed) the captured moments act as infographics for the quantity and value needed for each meal. ‘the photographs tease the pleasant anticipation of fresh food and its preparation‘ luther describes ‘while the look of the ready cooked dish is left to your own imagination and creativity.’
