hundreds of natural and unique faces comprise the portrait collection, snapped everywhere from western europe to african tribes, and from rio de janeiro to china. during her travels, noroc attempts to find females with a genuine look that visually tell a story about their geographical space. ‘for me beauty means diversity, it means to assume your genetic treasure and origins, it means to be yourself.’ she describes. ‘beauty means to keep alive your origins and your culture to be natural, sincere, authentic, particular…not necessary fashionable or skinny.’ noroc hopes to continue the project for many years while studying beauty in all countries of the globe, and hopes that the series will remain a witness of this era’s cultures and traditions.
