with college almost over for the year, a huge batch of ‘bros’ will leave campus for the last time. ‘how will they integrate into the real world?’ questioned artist hannah rothstein. ‘this parody art piece imagines one possible scenario.’

the photo series ‘broga’ adapts the popular practice of yoga to the ‘bro’ culture, adding poses like ‘videogamekasana’ and ‘reverse weekend warrior’ to the traditional routine. props like ping pong balls and shot glasses are interspersed throughout the scenes, forming ways in which the preppy set of men act out each scenario. beginning on june 7, ‘brogas’ are available in book format — ‘yoga for bros: your guide to manly mindfulness‘.
