‘audrey’, a poster series by hong kong-based kayan kwok combines traditional chinese ink drawings with images of british starlet audrey hepburn. an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer, kwok’s project began over a year ago, when she decided to create one poster every day for an entire year. 365 days came and went, and the work continues on. after spending a large part of the year focusing on vintage american advertisements and hollywood imagery, ‘audrey’ represents a half-step back towards integrating traditional chinese styles.
