plan bureau integrates asymmetric valley house into the natural landscape

mimicking the asymmetry of the mountainous landscape, the valley house is developed by kostiantyn kuvika of plan bureau. the scheme hopes to easily blend into the natural environment, even in constrained sites. the distinctive dwelling would be primarily constructed in wood. meanwhile, the diagonal form of the space instills blurred transitions between the functional areas- creating visual lightness.

designed as a place for relaxation and to be completely immersed with nature, the house is composed of three levels. all areas carefully utilized to provide the inhabitants with a spacious and comfortable stay- without feeling claustrophobic. furthermore, the integrated asymmetric windows on the ceilings allows an array of perspective views as well as sufficient natural light.
