architecture and design studio P-U-R-A was tasked with creating a hybrid shoe store for czech-based sneakers e-company footshop. the location is footshop’s first in prague, and acts as a public gallery for sneaker culture at large. the space is highly adaptable, and can accommodate a range of events and shows in addition to sales.
‘footshop prague’ interior
visitors to ‘footshop prague’ can shop for shoes directly, as well as pick up online-orders, try on wares, or hang out with friends and fellow connoisseurs. adaptation of the storefront for event purposes is carried out quickly and simply by integrated design elements. shoe-racks can be hoisted to the ceiling via pulleys, free-standing displays can be repurposed as seats or tables, and the main counter can be used as DJ table or other similar functions.
