the fashion door clothing retailer has opened its first ‘flagship store’ in china with an expansive interior created by bloom design. with approximately 2,000m2 of space, the store brings together more than 60 brands for men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, home items, and much more.
a temporary design-themed exhibit is located within the ‘flagship store’
to emphasize the special character of each of ‘fashion door’s’ many brands, bloom design focused on created a simple, open, and inclusive space for shoppers. cement, clay, steel, logs and other basic building materials are integrated throughout the entirety of the store, but take on an almost unnoticeable role. in its totality, the viewer loses themselves in the lines and shapes provided by the ‘flagship’s’ countless items, while the built environment takes on a silent, but supportive, role.
